In staying with my 6-month pledge to Wardrobe Refashion, I've made another item of clothing, a skirt this time.
I made up a pattern for a simple one piece wrap skirt, and finished it with bias binding made from the red floral fabric. I didn't originally plan for the red floral panel, but added it when I realized I didn't have a large enough piece of the olive fabric.
Necessity drove the process--I needed something to wear to Dave's concert tonight that would go with my new 'skater grrl' socks. Rock on.
