how hounds sleep
Hounds sleep many ways. They have lots and lots of practice. Here, Reuben demonstrates the 'pretzel snore' position. Do not attempt this position unless you are a very experienced sleeper.
I adore Reuben. I love watching animals sleep. My dog, Molly, who is part lemon beagle and part kelpie, has many and varied sleeping positions. She can't pretzel as well as Reuben, but she tries. My favourite is when she sleeps on her back with all four legs in the air. Thanks for this picture - it made me smile today,
